Vermillion Township is one of five townships in Vermillion County, Indiana, USA. As of the 2000 census, its population was 993.[1]

According to the United States Census Bureau, Vermillion Township covers an area of 50.91 square miles (131.9 km2); of this, 0.46 square miles (1.2 km2) or 0.9 percent is water.
